Thank you so much again for your team's excellent service and support with respect to our Night Out for Trevor event last month. The system worked wonderfully, and we were all very pleased.
We wanted to write to express particularly our gratitude for Derek Basista’s on-site support. A number of unexpected fires popped up during the course of the evening — including four last-minute additions to
our auction, the need to enter bids on behalf of bidders who could not use the electronic bidding system, and a request to extend the closing time for the sale that ultimately turned into a need to re-
open the bidding.
Not only was Derek responsive to our needs on the night of our event, he implemented each solution with a paramount degree of calm and efficiency.
At the end of the evening, during checkout, I can honestly say that we would have had a total procedural breakdown had Derek not been there to aid in the process. He stayed until the bitter end of the event
and ensured that our closeout was executed well.
Coming from an auctioneering background, I know how stressful coordination of an event like ours can be —- particularly when more points than expected don’t go as planned. Derek handled everything
beautifully and was a paragon of professionalism the entire evening. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and I'm sure you know how very lucky you are to have him on your staff.
